Last Monday, legendary troubadour James Taylor took the  stage for the first of two nights at the venue that he described as the best place in the world to play, Red Rocks.  As expected, his set featured many of the hits that have become an integral part of the Great American Songbook in the 6 decades he has been writing and performing.  From “You’ve Got A Friend” to “Steamroller,” Taylor’s songs warm the heart and sooth the soul.  Despite some pretty brutal wind that washed out the sound in the upper rows, who can argue about a night with James Taylor at Red Rocks?
